Cockatoo Ridge “Light as a Feather” Brut Cuvee off to a flying start!

Cockatoo Ridge “light as a feather” low calorie Brut Cuvee was released as part of the company’s new strategic plan to re-energise the Cockatoo Ridge brand. Targeted at the increasingly health conscious consumer and coinciding with their Erin McNaught backed consumer campaign the newest sparkling in the Cockatoo Ridge family has been an overnight success with the companies initial sales exceeding expectations.

The wine is made from standard Cockatoo Ridge Brut Cuvee’ but undergoes a de-alcoholising process which reduces the calories by 30% and the alcohol by 40% from the standard Brut Cuvee’. Not only does it offer a healthy alternative with the reduced calories but it also encourages the responsible consumption of alcohol.

“We were hoping for a positive response with the launch of “light as a feather” but we have been overwhelmed with our sales to date, in fact sales have gone so well we actually had to put the wine on allocation for a period of time due to the huge initial demand!” National Sales Manager Alan Thompson commented.
