Chairman

Mr Stuart Richardson is a high profile Australian business man who joined the Cockatoo Ridge Board in November, 2007 and was appointed Chairman of the company in June, 2008.

Mr Richardson brought to Cockatoo Ridge Wines extensive experience in capital markets in both Australia and overseas, particularly in the fields of stockbroking and investment banking.

He was a founding director of Blackwood Capital Limited, an Australian-based investment bank operating in capital markets, advisory services and funds management in equities and private equity funds. He remains a director of Blackwood Capital today.

Mr Richardson holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne and is a CPA.

Apart from his role as Chairman of Cockatoo Ridge Wines he is also Chairman of UnderCoverWear Limited.

Managing Director - Age 50 years

Regarded as one of Australia's highest profile wine industry leaders, Peter Perrin was appointed Sales and Marketing Director at CKR in August 2006 before being made Managing Director and joining the CKR board in early 2007. Mr Perrin offers the company a wealth of knowledge of the Australian Wine Industry, having begun his career with Lindemans Wines in Adelaide in 1980. Appointed Victorian State Sales Manager for Lindemans in 1984 he moved to the United States in 1986 as USA Sales manager - as an Australian pioneer in the tough USA market and introduced the renowned Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay to that market. In 1989, Mr Perrin returned to Australia, joining Wolf Blass Wines in Adelaide as Export Director, one year later moving to Victoria as Export Director for Mildara Blass following a merger of those two companies. Six years later he again moved to the USA, this time as North American Sales Director before returning to Adelaide in 2000 as International Trading Director for what had become Berringer Blass. In 2001, he joined the newly formed Cheviot Bridge as Export Manager, remaining in that post until joining CKR in the second half of 2006. Mr Perrin is a board member of the International Trade Advisory Council of the Australian Wine and Brandy producers Association.

Director - Age 57 years

Ivan Limb holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Charles Sturt University. He has more than 17 year’s professional and management experience with Orlando Wyndham, one of Australia’s major winemaking groups, where he was responsible for producing many trophy and medal winning wines.

In 1993, he was instrumental in establishing Australian Vintage Limited which crushed about eight percent of Australia’s vintage in 1995. In 1997, Australian Vintage was taken over by Simeon Wines Limited via a scrip and cash bid which valued the company at approximately $120 million. Mr Limb resigned from Simeon Wines Limited in 1998 and has since developed more than 200 hectares of vineyards in the Barossa Valley and at Waikerie, South Australia.

Company Secretary - Age 65 years

Melyvn Drummond is Company Secretary and alternate director. He lived and worked in four countries prior to permanently relocating to Australia in 1985. He has held senior finance and administrative positions (including directorships) in both private and public companies in various business sectors in Australasia and abroad between 1976 and coming to melbourne. Mr Drummond holds a bachelor or Arts and commerce degrees from the university of Cape Town and is a chartered secretary.
